Meet our New CWS Design Team!

Hello, dear CWS friends!

Please, welcome our newest Design Team members!!!
They will start sharing their cards with you TOMORROW!

Meet...
Alison

My name is Alison and I live in Bend, Oregon right in the center of Oregon. I am married and have one 13 year old daughter along with a dog named Wrinkles. I started traditional scrapbooking over fifteen years ago which branched out into card making, mini albums, and other paper crafts. I work part time as Speech Language Pathologist helping children zero to five years of age. In my free time I tend to make more cards (especially since I discovered stamps and dies) but still enjoy scrapbooking.
You can find me on my Blog or Instagram.

Stephanie

It is an honor and a pleasure to be joining the wonderfully talented Creative With Stamps Design Team with the April 2018 Challenge. I am excited to begin my term among these wonderful crafters.

I live in the United States in the state of New Jersey with my husband and 18 year old twin sons. By day, I am a librarian in a Pre-K through 8 school. What an adventure! My biggest loves in life include my family, music, being by the sea (I was a mermaid in a former life), reading, gardening, creative cooking and ever since I can remember, I have always loved to make things. I have had many and varied crafting passions over the years, but the one I have been and remain most passionate about is card making.

I picked up my first serious stamping supplies about 25 years ago when I was at a heat embossing demo at a craft store that specialized in paper crafting supplies. The magic of that powder turning into this wonderfully shiny and sparkly finish hooked me immediately. That is where is all began for me.

I love to explore and be inspired by the work of other crafters, and I enjoy providing positive feedback. Over the past several years, I have met so many wonderful crafters through participating in challenges and as a member of various design teams. I love the camaraderie and the exchange of artistic styles and ideas with people from all over the world. I have been delighted to meet some of them in person.

I currently design for Time Out Happy Little Stampers Christmas and Addicted to CASI am so pleased to start this new chapter of my crafting journey with Creative With Stamps.

Angela

Hi girls,
My name is Angela, and I live with my hubby and our beagle Cooper in Berlin/Germany. A long time ago I came through a friend to crafting with stamps. Since this time, I’m infected by this wonderful virus. I really love to craft and it’s really a big part of my life. I love to work with stamps, Digi stamps, papers and different embellishments. This is sooooooo relaxing for me. and I’m so honored to be a part of the Creative with Stamps Design team.
Hugs,
Angela

Eileen

I am married to my High School sweetheart for almost 33 years, we are blessed with an amazing adult daughter and a fabulous son-in-law, a wonderful pup and "grand" pup.  I live in suburban Illinois.
I have been crafting most of my life and specifically scrapping and card making since the mid 90s. I love trying out new techniques and hope I can inspire people to create their own little works of art.

My name is Pam Peeling and I live in upstate NY with my dog Piper. We have a nice big yard on a quiet county road surrounded by woods and wildlife-just the way we like it! I work in the human services field for a local not-for-profit agency as the Director of Operations. I have a Bachelors of Fine Art and have been creative my whole life. Over the years I think I've tried just about every medium and technique out there-painting, drawing, printmaking, leather embossing, Pysanky, sewing and cooking! Blog: Scraps Da MaryV

"I am a paper lover and a blogger whenever I can find the time. I'm married and I have 2 teenage daughters. I live in the North of Portugal. My paper crafting hobby started about four years ago with some scrapbooking but it was when I discovered that I could make cards, among other things, like
boxes, bags, tags and anything my imagination allowed, that I became addicted. There is so much to learn and I feel humble when I visit other blogs and see wonderful projects.
When I created my blog, back in 2012, I only had a few visits, some time later, I decided that I was ready to show my projects to the world. It was when I started submitting to challenge blogs. And I'm glad I did that! I've learned so much with so many wonderful crafters out there!"

Helen

Blog: Handmade Cards by Helen

Hello there, my name is Helen. I live in the sunny state of Florida and have been here for almost 25 years, originally from Boston, MA. Now retired from the Corporate world, I fill my time with volunteer work, going to the gym 4 times/week and of course, paper crafting. I can't remember not being involved with some form of crafting since I was a young girl ~ I think it started with cutting out paper dolls and drawing clothes for them :-) My love for card making started in 1997, when a co-worker invited me to a Stampin' Up party...which reeled me in, hook, line and sinker! I created a Blog to enter Challenges in 2009 and have been obsessed with stamps, dies, inks, patterned papers, ribbons, embellishments, etc. etc. etc.
Well, you get the picture and I am sure you all understand. ;-)

Billie
My name is Billie Anderson – I live in the Pacific Northwest in Washington State in the southwest area of the state and out in the country.  I am married and we have grown children between us who have given us grandchildren and great grandchildren.  We have one little four legged dog who has us wrapped right around her paw.  I am looking forward to retiring at the end of October 2016.  I have been crafting all my life. My biggest current passion is quilting and paper crafting. I have been making cards since the early 90’s. I love the flexibility of making card and giving my cards out to friends and family.

Dorlene

I've been a crafter all my life. My mom encouraged all things creative. Luckily I continued to love creating as I grew older. I started scrapbooking in 2000 and that led to rubber stamping and all things paper crafts. My daughter and I have a small business where we sell things at local boutiques and craft fairs. I still work full time outside the home so it's difficult to do much more than that. I'm currently on three design teams and love pushing myself to new levels.
I'm happily married for 30 years with four young adult children, one granddaughter and one furry baby, Gracie, our border collie mix.

Gwendolyn

"Hi I’m Gwendolyn aka desperatehousewifecraft! I’m originally from Singapore but I spent more than half my life living away from home, in places like New Zealand and France, and we now live in Ulm, Germany. I'm on sabbatical from my job in communications in the aeronautical industry, since I arrived here 4 years ago and adjusting to be a stay at home mum to our 2 kids & 2 dogs, hence my blog name: desperate housewife craft!
I entered the crafting world 4 years ago, when I started a scrapbook a month before I left France, for my best friend there, to leave her a memory of our 20 year friendship. I remember going for a scrapbook class as I didn't know what it meant and what I had to do! Lol! She got the scrapbook.. 2 years later... and that was the last I touched a scrapbook! I tried crochet, soy candle making, and then 1 year ago, I don't really know why, I started card making. And I have been obsessed with it ever since! I love learning new techniques and being challenged by challenges. My style is mainly clean and simple and playing with watercolours, which I learnt to use a few months ago.
I'm so thrilled to have been asked to join this team and I hope you like the first card I made for this challenge, as it's also the first time I've made a card like this!"

Please, check our April Challenge out tomorrow!!!
Have a nice day!
